Seeking Assistance with Firmware Update for 2023 Kia Seltos (Korean Import) and Engineering Mode Code

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I have a 2023 Kia Seltos full version that was imported from Korea, and I'm looking for some assistance regarding firmware updates and the engineering mode code.

Firmware Update: I’m trying to find the latest firmware update for the Middle East region for my vehicle. If anyone has any information on where to download this update or how to proceed, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Engineering Mode Code: I’m also looking for the code to access the engineering mode for this model. If anyone knows the code or how to access this mode, please share.

The infotainment software can be found on the official portal: https://update.kia.com/ME/EN/Main

However, there's no official way of applying it to a car from a different region, as far as I know. I don't know who can help you with that, but you should expect that it's not trivial to do.

I downloaded the update from the internet, but I received a message stating that the update is not compatible with the region. I believe I need to access the engineering mode to change the region to accept the update. A picture of the error message can be found at the following link: https://ibb.co/vc0yyfz

As I said, it is not trivial to change the region. I very much doubt you can do it from Engineering Mode. A few years ago when I played around in there on an XCeed I really didn't find anything useful.

You may need some deeper hacking to achieve what you want.

There were some guys there that were porting Russian software for EU cars before the official portal was opened for EU. Maybe they can help you.

There is someone here in Egypt who can make this update on the same version, install Android apps like IPTV, Netflix, and YouTube, and enable WiFi
